Learn more about my journey and experiences.
Hi, I’m Laura Alinani!
I recently graduated from Bridgewater College with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science,
along with Minors in Mathematics and Leadership and Community Engagement. I graduated
Summa Cum Laude, as a proud member of the Flory Honors Program, and was honored to receive
the Outstanding Senior in Computer Science Award a few weeks prior to graduation.
One thing I always look forward to is learning and challenging myself to
grow both personally and professionally.
As a programmer, web developer, and aspiring software engineer, I’ve had the chance to work on
exciting projects using Java, JavaScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Agile methodologies, and much more. I
love to explore new technologies, and innovative software solutions, and constantly push my skills
to new heights.
In my role as a Student IT Worker, I have helped maintain and troubleshoot systems around campus,
supporting faculty, staff, and students. I also tutor peers in Programming Languages,
Computer Architecture, and Mathematics, which has allowed me to
share my enthusiasm for learning and programming while helping others succeed academically.
Beyond the technical side, I’ve developed strong leadership skills as a Student Ambassador, where I
guided international students through the transition to college life. As an international student
myself, I value diverse perspectives and enjoy collaborating with people from all backgrounds.
Outside of my academic and professional life, I love to read, go hiking, travel, and enjoy some iced
coffee.
Thanks for visiting my portfolio—I hope you enjoy exploring
my work!
